Aaron Rodgers ties Packers record for Pro Bowl selections

Aaron Rodgers joined Pro Football Hall of Famers Brett Favre and Forrest Gregg as the only players in the history of the Green Bay Packers to be selected to nine Pro Bowls.

Rodgers, who leads the NFL in touchdown passes (40) and passer rating (118.0) this season, was selected to his ninth Pro Bowl on Monday. The two-time MVP has been a Pro Bowler in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and now 2020.

Rodgers joins six other active players with at least nine Pro Bowl selections (Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Jason Witten, Jason Peters and Maurkice Pouncey).

Rodgers is now tied for the sixth-most Pro Bowl selections among quarterbacks all-time. Only Brady (14), Peyton Manning (14), Drew Brees (13), Brett Favre (11, one with Minnesota) and Johnny Unitas (10) have more. Rodgers is tied with John Elway, Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Fran Tarkenton and Norm Van Brocklin at nine selections. Every quarterback with at least nine Pro Bowl selections is either a Hall of Famer or a future Hall of Famer.
