It’s Week 12 and we are looking at a strange week of football. As of now, the Ravens-Steelers game is still scheduled to be played on Tuesday, 12/1/20 at 5:00 pm EST despite all of the inactives due to COVID-19. Speaking of inactives, this week has the longest list of players out, including the entire QB room for the Broncos.
Follow along here to keep up with all the big plays, touchdowns, and turnovers during Sunday’s matchups. Good luck in Week 12.
Drew Lock, Brett Rypien, Blake Bortles, Jeff Driskel
Lamar Jackson, J.K. Dobbins, Mark Ingram, Mark Andrews
Jake Luton (benched)
4:00 PM EST Schedule
Saints 31 – Denver 3
49ers 23 – Rams 20
Chiefs – Buccaneers
(7:21) There is 4:00 minutes left in the Chiefs-Buccaneers game. Chiefs are on offense up only by three points after WR Mike Evans scored a touchdown for Tampa Bay on the previous drive.
(7:15) Robbie Gould went on the field for a 47-yard game winning field goal. A flag pushed the attempt up five yards and Gould’s kick is good from 42 yards to take the win over the Rams.
(7:06) Tampa’s defense holds strong and the Chiefs are forced to punt after the questionable roughing the passer call gave the Chiefs yards and fresh set of downs. The Bucs trail by 10 with over six minutes to play.
49ers elect to go for it on fourth and one within field goal range. There is 27 seconds on the clock and the 49ers get the first down.
(7:05) 49ers-Rams is getting interesting with 1:55 to play, tied at 20-20, with each team having all of their timeouts.
(7:01) We have some drama in Tampa Bay. Buccaneers pick off Mahomes but they are called for roughing the passer. The Chiefs get the ball back and it’s first down. Bucs HC Bruce Arians face is turning red he’s so fired up.
(6:55) 49ers tied it up at 20-20 with a field goal.
(6:51) Brady finally connected with WR Mike Evans for a 31-yard touchdown. They are down 10 points 27-17 after the Chiefs were forced to punt on their previous drive.
(6:40) Chiefs bring the pressure against Brady and it worked. Brady’s pass was tipped at the line for a Chief’s interception.
(6:31) Oh, goodness. Latavius Murray got his second touchdown. Murray has out touched Kamara 19 to 11 and has 124 yards to Kamara’s 54 so far in this game. This seems to be a trend with Hill at QB.
(6:30) Brady connected for a long pass to Chris Godwin… only to get picked on the very next play.
Rams RB Cam Akers breaks off a long run to put LA in scoring position. They call on his number to bust into the end zone for a touchdown. They take the lead over the 49ers 20-17.
(6:22) Hope you didn’t blink – Tyreek Hill just scored his third touchdown on his 12 receptions and 261 yards.
Rams Aaron Donald forced a fumble for a scoop and score against the 49ers. Hopefully this will spark some life into both teams.
(6:18) The Rams are trying to generate some offense with a 30-yard plus pass to WR Cooper Kupp. He lobs one over Josh Reynolds head, missed a double-covered Robert Woods, and they are forced to kick a 41-yard field goal. Rams tacked on an additional three points and trail the 49ers 17-6.
(6:14) Robbie Gould kicked a field goal for the 49ers who lead 17-3. With the exception of the Chiefs, these games are rough to watch if you like high-flying offense.
(6:11) Brady sails a pass over the heads of his receivers in the end zone. There is a lot of jawing between Brady and the Chiefs Defense. Bucs settle for a field goal to trail 10-20 against KC.
(6:04) I am sorry Kamara managers, but it’s Latavius Murray who scored a 36-yard touchdown for the Saints.
(6:00) Field goal for the Broncos on a four-play drive for one yard. INJURY UPDATE: Phillip Lindsay may have been injured on the play.
(5:53) Saints hand the ball back to the Broncos after an interception. This game is pretty ugly so far.
(5:50) Buccaneers Defense holds and KC settled for a field goal.
Hinton threw an interception and the Saints will try for another score.
(5:46) Jared Goff throws a pick-six, pass intended for Cooper Kupp. 49ers lead the Rams 14-3 in Los Angeles.
(5:33) Touchdown for Ronald Jones who kept his foot just in bounds for the Bucs. They trail the Chiefs by 10 at 17-7.
(5:30) Yikes, Robbie Gould missed a field goal for the 49ers. They still lead the Rams 7-3.
(5:24) Patrick Mahomes fumbled and the Bucs take over.
The Rams also fumbled and the 49ers take over.
…. I’m waiting for the Saints… Will Lutz kicked a field goal. At least all three games didn’t have a turnover at the same time.
(5:22) Should we try for names or just go with numbers… #2 for the Broncos threw a pick. I’m kidding, it’s Kendall Hinton at QB.
(5:15) Hill may not be able to complete a pass, but if he gets near the end zone, he can run. He rushed in a second touchdown to extend the Saints lead 14-0.
(5:12) As expected, the Broncos Offense is ugly. Phillip Lindsay took the snap with a bad center snap and the Saints recover.
(5:06) Easy-peasey. Tyreek Hill hauled in his second touchdown and the Chiefs lead 17-0. Tom Brady has been struggling to connect with this WRs and seems to be forcing the deep ball.
(4:53) Long touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill. By long, I mean 75 yards long.
(4:45) Newly appointed QB Taysom Hill (now only QB eligible) rushed in a touchdown after RB Alvin Kamara went in motion.
(4:39) Well, that didn’t last long for the 49ers. Jeff Wilson coughed the ball up and the Rams take back over.
(4:36) Richard Sherman is back in full action and picked off Jared Goff. 49ers have excellent field position.
(4:30) Welcome back RB Raheem Mostert! He scored for the 49ers to take the lead over the Rams 7-3.
Chiefs settle for a field goal after Travis Kelce was unable to throw a TD. Yes, after Kelce was unable to do so.
(4:23) Rams kick a field goal to take a small lead 3-0 after they pick off QB Nick Mullens.
(4:16) Rams RB Malcolm Brown fumbled and the 49ers took over.
1:00 PM EST Final Score
Raiders 6 – Falcons 43
Chargers 17 – Bills 27
Giants 19 – Bengals 17
Titans 45 – Colts 26
Panthers 27 – Vikings 28
Cardinals 17 – Patriots 20
Dolphins 20 – Jets 3
Browns 27 – Jaguars 25
(4:19) HOLD UP – a defensive penalty on the Panthers gave another shot at the extra point. The Vikings are now ahead by one, 28-27. Things happen fast in the NFL. The Panthers only need a field goal to win with six seconds. Joey Slye’s 54-yard attempt for the win is….. NO GOOD! WIDE LEFT!
(4:17) WR A.J. Brown extends the Titans lead even further with another touchdown on kickoff return for 40 yards.
(4:12) T.Y. Hilton caught a touchdown pass.
Vikings WR Chad Beebe caught a touchdown to tie it 27-27. The extra point to take the lead is BLOCKED.
INJURY ALERT: D.J. Moore is hurt.
(4:02) Cam Newton took a huge hit from Isaiah Simmons for the Cardinals, which drew a flag. They only need a field goal to win. Kicker Nick Folk kicked the 50-yard field goal, which is…… GOOD!
Meanwhile, Carr just fumbled again. Ouch.
(4:00) Cardinals Zane Gonzalez’s kick is no good. Patriots take back over tied 17-17.
Vikings muffed the punt and Panthers took over inside the 10-yard line. They only trail the Panthers 21-24.
(3:58) Jaguars James Robinson rushed in short yardage touchdown.
Brandon Allen is sacked and the Giants get the ball back and that game is over.
INJURY UPDATE: Josh Jacobs is being evaluated on the sidelines.
(3:52) Justin Jefferson found the end zone again for the Vikings. They have closed the gap 21-24 against the Panthers.
(3:51) Josh Allen threw a pick, Cam Newton threw a pick, and Josh Jacobs just fumbled. Not a good day. Oh, and then Justin Herbert just threw a pick to give Josh Allen the ball right back. What is happening right now?
(3:43) Not fantasy relevant, but Jacoby Brissett got a second touchdown (no, he’s not the starter) and TE Adam Shaheen caught a touchdown pass for the Dolphins. Colts go for two with a big deficit against the Titans but were unsuccessful.
Bills had a botched center exchange and the Chargers take over on offense.
If you don’t have Derrick Henry or Kenyan Drake starting right now you are likely despising fantasy football. Or maybe that’s just me.
What is it with these irrelevant touchdowns? Matt Ryan threw a touchdown pass Brandon Powell.
After Tyler Boyd drew the pass interference call in the end zone, it’s WR Tee Higgins who got the ensuing touchdown pass. I am not happy about that as the Boyd manager playing against Higgins.
INJURY UPDATE: Calvin Ridley is now down on the field.
(3:40) After getting stuffed, Kenyan Drake rushed in his second touchdown to tie the Patriots 17-17.
(3:37) Oh, hey! Badgley made a field goal for the Chargers. They are trying to get something together against the Bills down 17-24.
Bengals turned the ball over to Colt McCoy and the Giants. Giants lead 16-10.
(3:30) The Raiders bounced back with a promising drive after Carr’s pick-six. However, they still have to kick a field goal as they are seemingly allergic to the end zone against a team who perpetually bleeds touchdowns to opposing teams.
The Titans tack on three more points to make it 38-14 against the Colts.
(3:21) The Vikings are moving downfield with a nice pass to WR Justin Jefferson. Dalvin Cook is back in the game now as they fight for a score in the red zone. They are forced to kick a field goal as they trail the Panthers 35-14.
Miami turned the ball over again as they lead the Jets 13-3.
Philip Rivers is picked off and Tennessee got the ball back.
Not to be left out, Bills RB Devin Singletary also fumbled to give the ball to the Chargers.
(3:17) Unbelievable. Carr is really struggling today. He threw a pick six against the Falcons who now lead 23-3. The Raiders Offense isn’t even standing still. They are moving backward.
Browns’ RB Nick Chubb rushed in a touchdown to add to his nice stat-line for the day.
(3:10) Giants pick off Bengals QB Brandon Allen after some trickery to keep possession.
(3:07) James White gets in the end zone for his second touchdown, much to the chagrin of Damien Harris managers. Patriots lead the Cardinals 17-10.
(3:05) Austin Ekeler (he’s back!) gets the Chargers to the one-yard line after a 33-yard run from rookie RB Joshua Kelley. Kelley then got the touchdown over the top of the pile. The Chargers go for two and it’s successful to WR Keenan Allen.
(3:00) QB Kyler Murray was intercepted and the Patriots took over. RB Damien Harris is looking good, even with RB Sony Michel activated for this game.
(2:55) Giants kick a field goal to take the lead over the Bengals 13-10. No news on Jones’ status.
Bills QB Josh Allen rushed in a pylon-diving touchdown.
Browns kick a field goal (no double doink from Parkey) and Cleveland takes the lead 20-19 over the Jaguars.
(2:50) Koo is good enough to kick a field goal for the Falcons after taking a hit earlier in the game. The Falcons lead the Raiders in a surprising 16-3.
A penalty wiped out a Patriots punt return for a touchdown.
(2:44) Mike Glennon! This is a happy story. He connected with Tyler Eifert for a Jaguars’ touchdown. The Jags go for the two-point conversion.
The Vikings are imploding. RB Dalvin Cook fumbled this time for a Panthers’ DST touchdown… again. And I do believe it was the same defensive player, Jeremy Chinn. He scored on consecutive plays. On defense.
INJURY UPDATE: Dalvin Cook is in the blue medical tent.
INJURY UPDATE: QB Daniel Jones is being checked out on the sidelines after holding his hamstring. Colt McCoy is in at QB.
(2:40) Raiders woes continue as Carr fumbled and the Falcons recover.
Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins also fumbled and the Panthers scooped and scored. Carolina is now on top 14-10.
Geez, Baker Mayfield also fumbled on the first drive of the third quarter and the Jaguars are in scoring position.
(2:32) After over 300 yards and three touchdowns, Derrick Henry is on the sidelines taking a well-earned breather. We’ll see how long he stays there. His helmet is off and a mask is on. The Titans went for it on fourth down and Tannehill connected with Corey Davis for a long pass right in front of the end zone. This is normally Henry time, but he’s still on the sideline. Oh! Never mind! Henry is back! But, it’s a fake to Henry and Ryan Tannehill rushed it in himself. They lead the Colts 35-14.
(2:24) RB Kenyan Drake is held short of a touchdown and the Patriots take over on downs.
WR Calvin Ridley scored a touchdown for the Falcons after the roughing the kicker penalty. The Raiders’ self-inflicted wounds are adding insult to injury to their offense who is stagnant.
(2:22) King Henry is called King Henry for a reason. He rushed in a THIRD touchdown of the day. Wow.
INJURY UPDATE: Bills QB Josh Allen is slow to get up after taking a big hit. He did come back on the field after missing a play.
(2:19) Lots of close calls in the end zone but none have capitalized yet.
Graham Gano kicked a 49-yard field goal for the Giants to tie the Bengals 10-10.
Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo missed the field but drew a flag for roughing the kicker. He looks hurt, but the Falcons have a new set of downs.
Minnesota also kicked a field goal to take the lead over the Panthers 10-7.
(2:09) WR Robby Anderson scored a touchdown on a 41-yard play in the open field. The Panthers are tied with the Vikings at 7-7.
K Jason Sanders kicked his second 50-plus yard field goal for the Dolphins who lead the Jets 13-3.
(2:05) It’s really tough if you have to play against Derrick Henry in real life and in fantasy. He rushed in his second touchdown of the day and it’s not even half-time. The Titans lead the Colts 21-14.
Collin Johnson for the Jags caught a 46 yard pass from Glennon to put Jacksonville up 13-10.
(2:00) It’s been all special teams for the Bengals so far. Backup QB Brandon Allen got them close enough for a Randy Bullock field goal to take the lead 10-7.
(1:55) Raiders are getting backed up with offensive penalties. Josh Jacobs fumbled but was ruled down before losing the football. Falcons Defense stepped up and the Raiders are forced to kick a field goal.
WR Cole Beasley, who is having an excellent year, turned into a quarterback with a 20-yard pass to Gabriel Davis.
TE Mike Gesicki caught a touchdown pass from QB Ryan Fitzpatrick who is in for an injured Tua Tagovailoa.
Score, score, score… let’s go!
(1:50) Giants TE Evan Engram coughed up the football and Bengals take over on offense.
Ew. QB Baker Mayfield sailed a pass in the end zone right over Rashard Higgins head who was wide open.
(1:45) QB Teddy Bridgewater was picked off by the Vikings.
Patriots go for it on fourth down and it results in a touchdown for RB James White.
Raiders WR Henry Ruggs made a circus catch to get the Raiders near the goal-line with a fresh set of down.
(1:38) Donte Moncrief sighting! Newly signed by the Patriots after being unable to catch a football for the Steelers, Moncrief returned a kick after the Cardinals field goal for 55 yards.
QB Jacoby Brissett who has been swapping in and out for the Colts rushed in a touchdown for the Colts.
Jaguars kicked another field to trail the Browns by one at 7-6.
(1:34) K Jason Sanders ties the game for the Dolphins against the Jets wit a field goal.
Cardinals K Zane Gonzalez kicked a field for Arizona.
(1:28) Holy cow! 69-yard touchdown for WR A.J. Brown!
(1:24) It’s another week with WR Keenan Allen catching a laser in the end zone for a TD for the Chargers, but they missed the extra point. That’s becoming redundant for K Michael Badgley.
Raiders QB Derek Carr fumbled for a Falcons recovery. They also stopped RB Josh Jacobs earlier for a turnover on downs. The Raiders Defense held the Falcons to another field goal. They lead 6-0.
Browns QB Baker Mayfield threw his first touchdown pass since Week 7 to WR Jarvis Landry. They lead the Jaguars 7-3.
(1:20) Raiders Defense held the Falcons to a field who are without RB Todd Gurley and WR Julio Jones today.
Jacksonville also kicked a field goal. They are started veteran QB Mike Glennon in place of QB Jake Luton.
The Colts answer the Titans with a touchdown pass TE Trey Burton. They are tied 7-7.
(1:15) QB Kirk Cousins is looking pumped up on their drive against the Panthers. He picked up nine yards for a Vikings first down. Adam Thielen and Irv Smith are both out for this game. Cousins instead found Justin Jefferson for a touchdown.
(1:13) Ok, Bengals DST! After the Giants scored, the Bengals ran it all the way back on the return for a Bengals TD. They are tied now 7-7.
(1:11) After long pass to WR Stefon Diggs drew a pass interference call, The Bills score against the Chargers with a touchdown pass to TE Dawson Knox.
(1:08) RB Wayne Gallman scored a touchdown, that makes a touchdown in five consecutive games for Gallman and the Giants against the Bengals.
RB Derrick Henry, who plowed his way down the field for the Titans, scored a touchdown against the Colts.
(1:05) Well, that was quick. Cardinals pick off QB Cam Newton with excellent field position on the New England 23-yard line. Cardinals strike first touchdown run by Kenyan Drake.
